Louisiana Notary E&O Insurance

Louisiana requires each notary to post and maintain a $50,000 surety bond, or in the alternative maintain at least $10,000 in errors and omissions insurance, filed with the Secretary of State. Notaries are commissioned for a parish and hold office for life.
