Oklahoma requires a $10,000 notary surety bond, signed by one or more sureties and filed with the Secretary of State with a $25 bond filing fee. The overall commission application fee is $50, and commissions run for four years. Errors and omissions (E&O) insurance is optional and protects the notary.
