E&O insurance

Vermont Notary E&O Insurance

Vermont does not require a notary public to post a surety bond. Notaries are commissioned by the Office of Professional Regulation (OPR) within the Secretary of State's office, must pass a basic exam, pay a $30 fee, and renew every two years with continuing education. Errors and omissions (E&O) insurance is optional.
